The choir at Buckholme Towers School and Nursery is spreading its festive cheer across the county this month with a string of Christmas carol concerts.
The choir, which includes 35 pupils in Years 3 to 6 has recently performed at a number of local events in Poole and Bournemouth including the Dolphin Shopping Centre’s Christmas lights switch-on, the Westbourne Christmas lights switch-on and most recently singing for Owners at Churchill Retirement Living in Southbourne and to the residents at Holmelake House.
Iain Robertson, headmaster at Buckholme Towers School, said: “The children love getting out and about in the community and singing Christmas carols. It is great to see the audiences enjoying their songs and it really gears everyone up for the festivities.”
Buckholme Towers School and Nursery on Commercial Road provides education for children from two years and nine months to 11 years old.
