Tapper Funeral Service’s Michelle Jose will be jumping out of a plane 15,000 feet in the air in memory of her mum on Saturday April 6.
Michelle, who works at Tapper Funeral Service’sChristchurchoffice, has already exceeded her £500 target for Macmillan Caring Locally.
The 39-year-old who lost her mum Joyce Jose 16 years ago said she would have been lost without the help from the Macmillan nurses who cared for her at home in her final weeks.
Michelle said: “We relied on Macmillan so much. I have no idea how we would have coped without the staff there. They were so caring and supportive.
“I have never done a skydive before but I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie so I have a feeling this may turn into an expensive hobby. Raising money for Macmillan Caring Locally will help local people in the same situation we found ourselves.”
