Dorset and Somerset solicitors’ firm Humphries Kirk has promoted three of its staff members for the new financial year.
Laura Staples and Chris Keenan have been promoted to partners at the firm, and Edward Green is now promoted to associate.
Laura, based at the Humphries Kirk solicitors’ office in Crewkerne, specialises in all aspects of private client law, including tax and trusts advice. She is a certified member of Solicitors for the Elderly and a Dementia Friend. Laura has a particular interest in advising clients and their families to manage their estates and deal with succession planning.
Working at the firm’s Wareham office, Chris qualified as a private client solicitor in 2007. He has a particular interest in current and retrospective applications for NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding and residential care funding issues, and in particular disputes with local authorities and Social Services.
Edward, working out of the Humphries Kirk office in Poole, joined the firm in 2012, bringing with him more than eight years’ specialist experience in the social housing sector. He has acted for numerous registered providers at a regional and national level on property projects, acquisitions and disposals, development and site assembly, planning, construction, infrastructure and nominations.
