Dorset and Somerset solicitors firm Humphries Kirk has expanded its private client team in Swanage by welcoming experienced solicitor Ann Corke as a partner of the firm.
The team now comprises Ann Corke, Ann Pond and Julie Dyer (nee Burgess), ably supported by Paul Griffin, and is based in Humphries Kirk’s office at Rempstone Road in Swanage. The team’s expertise lies in all aspects of private client law, including the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration (probate), providing advice for older people, the incapacitated or housebound, creation of trusts and advising on inheritance tax planning and will disputes.
Ann Corke boasts more than 30 years’ legal experience focusing on acting for families with issues such as succession planning and wills. She is a Swanage resident and her husband Andrew Corke is vicar at All Saints Church, Swanage.
Ann Pond brings more than 30 years in law practice and she specialises in the majority of areas relating to private client law and Julie Dyer has more than 15 years’ experience specialising in administration of estates and will preparation.
The team is assisted by Paul Griffin, a notary public and solicitor with more than 38 years’ experience, and he now specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing.
