As part of its client-focused strategy, law firm Humphries Kirk has announced plans to further strengthen its Crewkerne office by concentrating its South Somerset resources into one branch.

Partner at Humphries Kirk, (Katharine Jones), says: “We are focusing our forward plans on client care and believe that by bringing additional expertise and support into our Crewkerne office, we will be able to serve our clients to a more efficient level under one roof. As a result we have decided to close the Ilminster office by the end of April.

“We are consulting with the four members of staff currently based at the Ilminster branch and hope to introduce them to any of our seven alternative offices.

“Clients are being informed directly by letter and reassured that their work continues to be seamlessly handled by a well-resourced, professional team nearby in Crewkerne.

“We strongly believe that this is going to improve our service to the local community and are looking forward to implementing positive change for their benefit. We welcome contact from any clients who may have concerns.”
