Dorset and Somerset solicitors firm Humphries Kirk has appointed three experienced lawyers to its team in Crewkerne.
Alison Lock and Peppy Griffiths join as chartered legal executives and Laura Staples joins as a solicitor. The firm recently consolidated its Ilminster office to expand its Market Street in Crewkerne.
Alison joins with many years’ experience of residential conveyancing in Somerset and Devon. She said: “I am delighted to return to south Somerset, having started my legal career at Baker and Duke in Ilminster. I want to reassure those who may be concerned by the closure of the Ilminster office, that we are ready to act for new and existing clients and are happy to see clients from the Ilminster area in their own homes at no additional cost.”
Peppy, who joins the firm with more than 20 years’ experience in all areas of family law including children’s issues, divorce and financial settlements, is also an accredited mediator specialising in helping couples to find amicable and creative solutions for dealing with their separation.
Laura provides expertise in administration of estates, probate, trusts, wills, lasting powers of attorney, wealth management and planning for care home fees. Laura has been a qualified solicitor for six years having previously worked as a local firm for nine years.
