Southern NHS Health Trust has collected a healthy number of toys – more than 500 – for Wave 105’s Mission Christmas Toy Appeal.

The new unwrapped toys will be delivered to disadvantaged children across the south who would not otherwise receive a gift this festive season.

Nicky Adamson-Young, divisional director children’s services, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Wave 105’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas campaign.  As a local NHS provider, we understand the importance of supporting children and young people and are thrilled to be making a difference to their lives this Christmas.”

Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, added: “We want to thank Southern NHS Health Trust for their help in collecting donations to our Christmas cause. It is through their generosity that we can stop children in the south from having a miserable time this Christmas.”

The appeal is sponsored by Foresters, the International Finance Services Organisation, and David Gale, the Specialist Orthodontic Referral Centre, and is in association with Sainsbury’s.
