Following Tapper Funeral Service’s annual summer picnic and music event at its Harbour View Woodland Burial Ground, the local funeral director has raised further vital funds for Forest Holme Hospice.
Even though the summer event was hampered by a sudden storm, guests contributed £110.30 for the Poole-based hospice.
More than 50 guests joined Tapper Funeral Service at the beautiful grounds to enjoy a picnic and a free evening of entertainment courtesy of The Quay Strings Quarter from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Steven Tapper, joint managing director at Tapper Funeral Service, said: “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the evening. It was great to see that a freak summer storm could not dampen our guest’s spirits and everyone enjoyed the fantastic music from the BSO.
“Even though the majority of our Outlook events are free, we ask people to donate a small contribution to a chosen local charity. Forest Holme is a hospice close to our hearts and they are hugely grateful for our on going support.”
