Hamworthy Heating staff have cooked up a storm to raise money for their chosen charity of the year, Forest Holme Hospice.

Ali Morris and Claire Miles, who both work at the commercial heating solutions firm in Poole, joined forces with Forest Holme Hospice’s corporate fundraiser Hannah Parsons to sell homemade cakes and biscuits at a stall set up in the Poole Hospital ‘dome’.

Bob Walsh, technical director of Hamworthy Heating, said: “We want to thank everyone who made cakes for the stall and to Ali, Claire and Hannah who manned the stall on the day. Forest Holme Hospice is invaluable for those suffering from terminal illnesses and their families, and we are delighted to donate the funds towards their work.”

Corporate Fundraiser for Forest Holme Hospice Hannah Parsons commented: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Hamworthy Heating for baking and selling a delicious array of cakes and biscuits on behalf of Forest Holme. The money raised will be used to fund specialist care for patients with advanced cancer and life-limiting illnesses across Poole, Wimborne and the Purbecks.”
