Children from the Bay House School in Gosport, recently took part in a bag pack at Sainsbury’s in Fareham, with all monies raised going to Wave 105 Cash for Kids.
The students donned a selection of fancy dress outfits and asked shoppers if they would like their bags packed at the checkouts. In return, shoppers were invited to make a donation to Cash for Kids if they wished.
Gloria Hill, charity manager of Wave 105 Cash for Kids, says: “Through the bag packing event, more than £340.00 was raised for disadvantaged children in the south which is fantastic. Shoppers certainly went home smiling that day after seeing such an array of wonderful fancy dress outfits!”
Wave 105 Cash for Kids is committed to supporting local children under the age of 18, who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged.
