Cheltenham-based clothing brand Weird Fish has launched a new limited edition ‘Starling Wars’ T-shirt ahead of the eighth episode in the Star Wars saga – Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Designed by artist Richard Skipworth, the galactic bird themed T-shirt features Curlewbacca, Luke Skylarker, Han Sparrow, and Obi-Swan Kenobi onboard the Peregrinnium Falcon. It’s the seventh in a series of special edition shirts by Weird Fish in support of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), an initiative which has raised more than £65,000 for the charity since January 2015.

‘Starling Wars’ is now on sale for £20, with £5 from each sale being donated to the country’s largest nature conservation charity. Previous special edition designs with RSPB include ‘Purple Crane’, ‘Lord of the Wings,’ ‘Darth Wader,’ ‘Harrier Potter and the Deathly Sparrows,’ ‘Raiders of the Lost Lark’ and ‘Cranespotting.’

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “We are extremely proud of our relationship with RSPB and their passion for conservation and giving nature the home that it deserves. We share the belief that in this ever-changing world, our responsibility to meeting threats and protecting endangered species is greater than ever.”

Born from a love of the great outdoors, Weird Fish offers well-made, easy-going clothes that evoke that ‘forever weekend’ feeling. The brand has come a long way since creating its first T-shirt back in 1993 and is renowned for its instantly recognisable slow-spun Original Macaroni™.

‘Starling Wars’ is available nationwide from Weird Fish retail stores and online. There are 14 branded stores and stockists include Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks Leisure. For more information, visit
