Small businesses across Dorset have only a month left to take advantage of the Growth Vouchers programme, designed to help companies benefit from professional strategic advice.
Part of the Market Growth Scheme, this is a government initiative to encourage small businesses to grow by offering professional advice on key areas such as financial management, employing staff , improving leadership and management, attracting and keeping customers and making the most of digital technology.
Carla Hobby from the Poole office of international accountancy and business advisory firm Mazars, which is a recognised Growth Vouchers advisor, says: “The Growth Vouchers offer small businesses the chance to take advantage of a thorough financial check-up. Cash flow management, credit control, securing new investors and raising additional finance are just some of the aspects we have been helping our Growth Voucher clients with.” She added: “We’re also finding small business owners are using the Growth Voucher programme to improve their own financial management skills.”
Businesses who sign up can be granted up to £2000 worth of vouchers to cover half the cost of the advice. Carla Hobby adds: “You’re essentially getting a huge amount of specialist business support at half the cost which is a valuable saving to any business.”
