A new family-friendly festival comes to Lymington in Hampshire this September (14th -16th), offering unique ‘have-a-go’ access to more than 14 water and land sports for all ages.

With a 13-year Dorset heritage, Windfest Re-Tuned takes up residence in 2012 at its new home, Pylewell Park in Lymington, to accommodate camping, yurts and bell tents – developing the event into a fully fledged festival.

Gary Willingham, organiser and founder of Windfest, said: “Pylewell is untouched Old England; a haven for kids to run around and get active with the many sports available this year.

“Open fields and ancient oak trees will be the backdrop for a weekend of kite flying, kayaking, mountain bike trails, paddleboarding, slacklining and more. We want families to enjoy the countryside in a safe and relaxed environment, with good music, food and activities to entertain all weekend.”

As well as opportunities throughout for families to try new sports and develop existing ones, fun and games including circus skills workshops and welly throwing will keep little ones amused.

Tickets are available from www.windfest.co.uk with special offers for group bookings. Camper vans are also accepted.
