Drewsons Mechanical Services, part of the Bournemouth-based Drewitt Group, has been awarded a £50,000 contract by the freeholders of Roddis House to install a high-quality ventilation and extraction system for YO! Sushi, at the Japanese chain’s latest site in Bournemouth town centre.

Based on the ground floor in the former Dorothy Perkins retail unit, Drewsons Mechanical Services was instructed by the freeholder’s property agent to install the kitchen extract duct up through the building and venting on the roof, which would be essential to the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

The new duct has been installed through six floors of Roddis House following an eight week construction phase to mount and connect the system. This large scale project is nearing completion and the restaurant is set to open in August 2016.
