Drewlec Electrical Services, part of renound Drewitt Group, a Bournemouth-based firm providing services to the construction industry, successfully installed a new fire alarm system in the recently refurbished Forest Holme Hospice.

Drewlec has a longstanding relationship with Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and following its existing contract to service and maintain the site’s fire safety equipment, it was appointed to install a new alarm system at the Poole hospice.

Anne Currie, Charity Manager at Forest Holme Hospice, said: “Drewlec was selected by our contractors to fit a fire alarm system at Forest Holme Hospice during our £1 million refurbishment. We are pleased with the efficiency of the service it provided and we are satisfied that we have the best safety measures in place to ensure our patients and staff are notified quickly in the event of a fire.”

Richard Drewitt, managing director of Drewlec, said: “Being based locally it is vital to our business as we can build long standing working relationships with other organisations in the area. We value our relationship with Poole Hospital which has been ongoing since 2004 and we were delighted to provide a quality service with minimal disruption to the hospice, as it provides a vital service to the local community.”

The Drewitt Group combines Drewlec Electrical Services, Drewsons Building Maintenance and Drewsons Plumbing and Heating Services.
