There’s still time for companies to get involved in the popular Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards by becoming an Award sponsor.

Organiser of the competition, the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is searching for two sponsors to complete the Award category line-up for the 2012 Awards. With eight Award categories already confirmed, there are two further Award opportunities available before this year’s Dorset Business Awards officially launch on June 27 at the beautiful Victorian Barn, Woolland.

A co-sponsorship opportunity is available for the Business Engagement with the Community Award.  The co-sponsoring firm will be seeking to identify finalists that can demonstrate that they are leading on corporate social responsibility within the Dorset community.

A full Award sponsorship opportunity also exists and the category will be chosen between Dorset Chamber and the new sponsor coming on-board.

Peter Scott, chief executive of the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says: “Whether your company is a leader in its sector or is seeking to enhance its position, sponsorship of the Dorset Business Awards can place your company in a position of authority and enable you to build new business relationships.  In supporting the Awards you can raise the profile and visibility of your business and position yourself at the heart of Dorset’s thriving business community.”

Former winners, sponsors and guests will gather on June 27 for a reception to mark the launch of the 2012 Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards, where the Award categories will be unveiled together with an exciting theme for the 2012 competition.

The Awards are also backed by the south’s leading radio station Wave 105 and supported by the Dorset Echo. Companies interested in finding out more about the sponsorship opportunities should contact Shirley Ewart by Monday April 30 on 01202 714812.
