The Dolphin Shopping Centre has announced its sponsorship of the Borough of Poole’s Park and Ride Scheme – which is expected to give shoppers a boost this festive season.
From Saturday December 3 to Monday January 2, shoppers are to benefit from a regular Park and Ride service from Creekmoor, to the Dolphin Shopping Centre and back.
Yellow Buses will run the service every Saturday before Christmas, the service will also operate on December 26, 27, 31 and January 2.The Dolphin Shopping Centre and Borough of Poole funded the additional days of operation.
John Grinnell, centre manager, said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside the Borough of Poole on the new Park and Ride Scheme this festive season. By supporting the service, we hope that shoppers will benefit from the convenient schedule on offer, and it turn, it should help to minimise stress and reduce congestion on the busy roads.”
The buses are scheduled to leave Creekmoor Park and Ride every 15 minutes starting at 08:15 and finishing at 18:15. from 8am until 6pm and will drop shoppers at the entrance to Falkland Square. The Yellow Buses’ are accessible for those using wheelchairs and push chairs.
An adult return ticket is £1.50 and accompanied children’s tickets are 50p return. Concessionary pass holders also travel for free.
