While the wet weather may have put a dampener on summer activities, one Poole-based business is witnessing an upturn in trade.

The footfall figure at the Dolphin Shopping Centre has increased by more than seven per cent in the last month, compared to last year.

John Grinnell, manager of the Dolphin Shopping Centre, says: “The washout summer together with new retail outlets and additional customer events in the centre has resulted in a positive increase in footfall compared to last year.”
