The Dolphin Shopping Centre’s Poole Dragon Boat Race team has raised almost £1,000 for two charitable causes.
The event, which took place in Poole Park, was in aid of Diverse Abilities Plus and Poole Hospital charity. The 17-strong team, which comprised Dolphin Centre management, security team and retailers finished in the top ten.
John Grinnell, Dolphin Centre Manager, said: “The team had a great time taking part in the race. However, knowing that we raised such a good amount of money for two such worthy charities in the borough made the whole experience a rewarding one for all. We have already signed up for next year!”
