Little Fins for pre-schoolers will take place on Wednesday July 19 at Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Join Alice for interactive storytelling and soft play at the next Little Fins event. There will be beanbags, rugs and cushions provided to provide extra comfort for the storytelling sessions. Little guests will be able to paint and decorate scenes from Alice’s Summer Tea Party. Colourful stickers and a range of pens will be available to decorate the colouring sheets.
Youngsters can have their photo taken with Henry the Hedgehog and have a go at ‘Hoop a Flamingo’ by throwing soft mini hoops onto the freestanding flamingo and developing their aim.
The shopping centre’s free monthly parent and child activity session takes place every third Wednesday of the month. Each Little Fins activity morning includes meet and greet guest character appearances, a pop-up soft play area and mini art and craft sessions. There will also be storytelling and musical entertainment.
Little Fins is run by the award-winning Crafty Arty World and takes place in an area outside the Beales department store. Booking is not required to attend.
John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “With the summer holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring your children for their chance to socialise with other children.
“We provide a safe and welcoming environment for local parents to bring their children to enjoy free interactive play with a large variety of toys and an assortment of activities, including art and crafts.”
The following Little Fins event is scheduled for Wednesday 23 August. Each month a different animated character will appear.
