Poundland is set to open a new store on Thursday November 29 in the Dolphin shopping centre, Poole.
To celebrate, there will be a family fun day on Saturday December 1 and Coronation Street’s Katy Armstrong, Georgia May Foote, will get the party started at 10am by signing autographs, handing out gift vouchers and having her picture taken with local fans.
As well as free gift vouchers, there will be plenty of family prizes available to win in the ‘Poundland Lucky Numbers’ game as well as an in-store DJ who will be handing out balloons and sweets to keep the crowds entertained.
John Grinnell, centre manager, said: “The new Poundland store, located in Falkland Square, will offer shoppers at the Dolphin shopping centre value for money and a good range of well-known brands and products.”
Poundland’s trading director, Richard Lancaster, said: “Poundland offers exceptional value on top branded products to more than 4.5 million customers every week .The £1 price hasn’t changed since we opened our first store 22 years ago. Our current customers love us and we are sure the shoppers at the Dolphin shopping centre will too.”
