‘King of the Jungle’, Christopher Biggins, is set to host an exclusive lunch at the Harbour Heights Hotel in Poole on Sunday September 16 as part of a children’s charity fundraising event.

The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here winner has tried some exotic edibles in his time but will now sit down to enjoy a fabulous three-course meal created by the hotel’s new head chef, Loic Gratadoux.

Starting at 12.30pm, tickets to the event are currently on sale priced at £55 per person with a £10 donation going to Variety, the children’s charity.  On arrival guests will be greeted with a drink and canapés before sitting down for lunch.  This will be followed by a talk from Christopher Biggins.

Well known for his performances in pantomime, credits in Porridge, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? and Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em,  Biggins’ career in comedy spans more than 40 years and his stories will entertain diners.

Bartosz Perkowski, banqueting manager at the Harbour Heights Hotel, says: “We are delighted that Christopher Biggins is taking time to support Variety with this exclusive event. This will be a fantastic opportunity to spend an afternoon with such a renowned comedy star as well as enjoying the finest food.”
