For those needing a little encouragement to get outdoors and active this spring, clothing brand Weird Fish has launched its new line of Lined Macaroni sweatshirts, a new sub-group of the Original Macaroni™ range.

Fully fleece lined with a relaxed fit, the new Lined Macaroni range provides next-level comfort and warmth, while retaining the iconic Weird Fish look. Offering great colour combinations, including bold Absinthe green and pastel-hued light denim for women, and classic colours for men, the new sweatshirts are available for women in size 8-18 and for men in size small-XXL.

The brand’s Original Macaroni™ range uses a unique triple-twist yarn, originally discovered by the Weird Fish founder in Turkey. The range has been in production for more than 20 years and now comprises four sub-groups: Classic, Active, Tech and Lined. The Classic range is perfect for those needing a dependable, hard-wearing sweatshirt, whereas the Active range provides a more casual, understated look for those on the go. The Tech range is packed full of technical details and additional zipped pockets, as well as stylish contour stitching.

John Stockton, managing director at Weird Fish, said: “With Macaroni™ wearers at the forefront of our minds, we are constantly innovating. We consider their lifestyle, their leisure activities and the influence of the environment around them. We have identified the need for a Macaroni™ sweatshirt which offers even more comfort – the result is the new Lined Macaroni.”

John added: “Our Macaroni™ sweatshirt remains our bestselling item and has a loyal following, so we hope the introduction of Lined Macaroni will introduce more opportunity to wear Weird Fish, whatever the weather.”

The Lined Macaroni range launches at the end of February. Weird Fish boasts 13 branded stores and stockists include Debenhams, Cotswold Outdoor, Haskins and Blacks Leisure. For more information, visit www.weirdfish.co.uk
