To celebrate the opening of Déjà Vu Upcycling in Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre, the store is set to host an event on Thursday March 3 from 6pm to 8pm for guests to explore the store and its one-of-a-kind products.
The store, upstairs in the Dolphin Shopping Centre, sells restored vintage and pre-loved furniture and offers upcycling workshops to those interested in the latest home furnishing trend. Founded by Eloise Flinter, Déjà Vu Upcycling donates a percentage of profits to Forest Holme Hospice, a charity which cared for her late father.
As well as browsing the store, guests attending the event will be able to enjoy drinks and canapés while they shop and will be entertained with music from Real Vintage, plus a ‘jitterbugjive’ performance by the Bournemouth Lindy Hop Club.
Eloise says: “I love the ethos of upcycling, to source interesting items, often saved from landfill, and restore using an environmentally-friendly chalk and mineral decorative paint, Frenchic. Upcycling has become one of the hottest trends around the world and I’m pleased to open Poole’s first upcycling store, offering shoppers something slightly different. I look forward to welcoming guests to the official opening of Déjà Vu Upcycling.”
To attend, RSVP to Eloise at dejavuupcycling@gmail.com by Friday February 26.
