As a sponsor of the Bournemouth Air Festival 2013, Churchill Retirement Living, the UK’s fastest growing private retirement housebuilder, will be joining the traders and exhibitors at the award-winning festival from August 29 to September 1.
With Dorset known as one of the healthiest places to live in the country it has become renowned as a UK retirement hotspot, and the Churchill Retirement team will be on hand at the festival to highlight to the millions attending why the region is such a great place to settle.
With more than 29 per cent of Dorset’s population over the retirement age, compared with just 19 per cent across England and Wales, and a projected growth in the elderly population, Churchill Retirement Living continually looks to invest in its private developments and extend its property portfolio. At the Bournemouth Air Festival, the Churchill Retirement Living stand will feature details of its current and forthcoming local developments and the Ringwood-based firm will also unveil the latest details about its Wimborne property ahead of the grand opening of this development in the autumn.
All visitors to the stand during the four-day festival will also be given the opportunity to receive a £10 Marks and Spencer voucher if they book an appointment and take a tour at either the Bournemouth or Southbourne development during September. There will also be a prize draw running from the stand providing visitors 60 or over to win £350 worth of Venture Photography vouchers.
To coincide with the first day of the air festival, the firm’s Dean Lodge development in Southbourne will be hosting an event to celebrate. Open to people interested in taking a tour of the development, Dean Lodge is located on the cliff top on Southbourne Overcliff Drive and offers amazing views out to sea. Those attending will have the opportunity to watch the air displays whilst enjoying Pimms and strawberries on the lawn.
Spencer McCarthy, chairman at Churchill Retirement Living, says: “As a supporter of the Bournemouth Air Festival, we’re proud to be exhibiting this year. With more than one million visitors in attendance, this event is the biggest of its kind and the perfect platform for Churchill Retirement Living to meet both locals and visiting tourists and to showcase our local developments and the opportunities that are currently available.”
Since its launch in 2008 the Bournemouth Air Festival has welcomed more than 4.7million people to Bournemouth generating in excess of £100 million for the local economy. During the event the Churchill Retirement Living stand will be located between Boscombe and Bournemouth piers at East Overcliff Drive in the 1.5 miles of trading space on the Bournemouth seafront.
