A fun-filled series of events are lined up to take place in the Dolphin Shopping Centre in the run-up to Christmas.
On selected days, starting from Friday November 27, families can step into the shopping centre’s winter wonderland and enjoy a festive film at Santa’s Cinema, with blockbusters including ‘Shrek the Halls,’ ‘The Snowman’, ‘Home Alone’ and ‘Elf’.
Children will also have the opportunity to write letters to Santa, create reindeer food, plus meet Father Christmas himself and receive a special present. Entry will be a small donation towards the centre’s nominated children’s charity Julia’s House Hospice.
For the adults, the Dolphin Shopping Centre will be spreading the festive cheer at its VIP late night shopping events.
Every Thursday, from November 26 through to December 17, the centre will extend its opening hours to 9pm and will be offering exclusive events.
Professional style advisors will be on hand at the centre’s dedicated style lounge helping shoppers find the perfect party outfit or ultimate Christmas gift. There will be live entertainment to enjoy while you shop, with a Michael Buble tribute act on November 26 and Fire Radio taking to the decks on December 3, plus retailer discounts and competitions.
Shoppers can sign up to the Dolphin Centre’s e-newsletter in advance, where they will receive an email for a complimentary mince pie and a glass of fizz to enjoy on the night.
As well as offering extended shopping hours in the run up to Christmas, the Dolphin Centre management team has partnered with Borough of Poole to offer free car parking at all town centre car parks on a Thursday evenings from 6pm to 9pm and Sunday between 10am and 6pm.
