The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole is offering a free activity schedule for local families this summer.

‘Summer of Play’ can be found in Kingland Crescent and runs until Sunday August 13, from 11am until 4pm. The shopping centre is offering a whole host of fun activities to help keep the children entertained for free during the school holidays.

Children can enjoy interactive games and musical entertainment. There’s also a craft zone where kids can get creative with arts and crafts. Free face painting is offered every day and there’s a giant sand pit for the little ones to feel like they’re at the beach.

For the younger children, ‘Summer of Play’ offers a soft play space, complete with soft flooring and walls.

John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin, commented: “Our ‘Summer of Play’ offering has been really well received by local parents and children so far; it’s great to see them having so much fun. This is the first time we have done this and it’s been really popular as it’s a great way to keep the kids entertained through the long school holidays.

“The kids get to come somewhere a bit different and there’s a real beach vibe here for them. We’re proud to bring a fun space to the shopping centre where children can play and be entertained.”

Parents must supervise their children at all times at ‘Summer of Play.’
