Stephen Pritchard Partner at Menzies Solent office presents Wave 105 presenter Steve Power with a cheque of the money raised from the quiz
Staff at Whitley-based Menzies Chartered Accountants demonstrated their keen multiplication skills by raising an impressive sum of £1150.00 for Wave 105 Cash for Kids through a charity quiz night.
Held at the Broad Oak social club in Portsmouth, the professionals answered general knowledge questions to help children who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged across the south.
Stephen Pritchard, partner of Menzies LLP, said: “We always like to support a local charity and this year choosing Wave 105 Cash for Kids was easy due to the nature of the charity and the time of year.”
Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity manager, Gloria Hill, said: “A big thank you to Menzies for raising this significant sum of money for our worthy cause. We will make sure that these funds are put to good use supporting the physical, mental and general wellbeing of children and adolescents specifically within the Wave 105 region.”
