Dorset and Somerset solicitors’ firm Humphries Kirk has launched its busy summer schedule of community sponsorships.

 

The Poole Harbour Boat Show returns for its second year on Friday May 20 to Sunday May 22 and Humphries Kirk will be hosting a prestigious business lunch to kick-off the weekend’s activities.

 

Dorset Art Weeks, the biannual event taking place from Saturday May 28 to Sunday June 12, is a county favourite which Humphries Kirk is sponsoring for the tenth year in a row.

 

Dorset Opera Festival takes place on Tuesday July 26 to Saturday July 30, attracting the attention of national critics and opera-goers from across the UK and abroad, as well as entertaining local audiences. This year’s performances include Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Verdi’s Macbeth at the Bryanston School.

Later in the year, The Dorchester Literary Festival takes place at Kingston Maurward from Wednesday October 19 to Sunday October 23 and Humphries Kirk is sponsoring John Challis, former Only Fools and Horses actor who played ‘Boycie’, in his talk about his new book “The Treasure of Mortimer”. Humphries Kirk is also sponsoring a talk by Tracy Chevalier about her book “At the Edge of the Orchard”.

 

Other sponsorships include Ella Fest (Saturday June 25) and the Swanage Carnival (Saturday July 30 to Saturday August 6).
