Poole-based Pukka Pads has purchased manufacturer and supplier of business forms Inspired Forms (formerly known as Rediset).

Pukka Pads, the internationally-renowned stationery company, has acquired the business and assets of the Poole printing firm as part of its bold statement in entering the business forms market.

Although the company’s name will be changed to Pukka Pads Business Forms, Inspired Forms’ management structure will remain the same with the factory and jobs kept in the town.

Pukka products are sold in 35 countries across the world. Originally, the range consisted of eight different pads. Today, there are few stationery avenues left to explore with around 400 products on the market from quality paper pads and office products to environmentally-friendly recycled pens.

In order to meet the growing requirements of its rapidly expanding client portfolio, Pukka Pads has extended its product range to include Pukka Pads Business Forms as a new addition to the Pukka Pads group of companies.

Commenting on the acquisition, Pukka Pads’ Managing Director Chris Stott said: “We wanted to enter the business forms market and when the opportunity arose to acquire Inspired Forms the decision was easy to make.

“It’s an established business with an experienced management team that will ensure the business remains innovative and competitive.”

This latest acquisition comes hot on the heels of Pukka’s takeover of Grimsby-based Cardinal brands, a leading supplier of high quality paper-based products to the retail, commercial and educational sectors.
