Buckholme Towers School pupils and their families filled more than 100 donation bags with clothes, toys and books to boost stocks in the British Heart Foundation’s charity shops.
The Lower Parkstone school partnered with local radio station Wave 105 as part of the charity’s national campaign ‘Bag-a-Thon’ to encourage people to donate to the worthy cause.
Headmaster Mr Iain Robertson said: “We were delighted to be able to help the British Heart Foundation as it’s a wonderful charity that helps thousands of people across the UK. Encouraging our pupils to support local causes is vital to ensure they become well-rounded individuals.”
