Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, has been appointed as a member of the Dorchester BID Board.

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, added: “I’m thrilled to be a part of the Board and to be able to play a part in the future of Dorchester. We’ve found the team incredibly supportive of everything we do at Brewery Square, so it’s certainly a good thing for us to be involved in.”

Charlotte’s role will include attending the regular Dorchester BID meetings where the Board work together to further improve a defined commercial area. Her position at Brewery Square will allow her to bring insights from the restaurants and retailers in the development and ensure feedback is representative and wide-ranging.

Phil Gordon, project director of Dorchester BID, commented: “I was delighted when Charlotte said that she would like to join the voluntary board of the Dorchester BID. I have been very impressed by what she has achieved with her team in Brewery Square and her passion for the town is clear. I think she will bring lots of ideas and enthusiasm to the BID team and I look forward to working with her. I think it is particularly good news for the businesses in Brewery Square who now have BID representation right on their doorstep!”
