Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen has confirmed its commitment to Dorset’s talented young business people by sponsoring the 2017 Rock Star Awards.

The award-winning Rock Star Awards, launched by Rock Recruitment, aim to acknowledge the county’s outstanding youngsters aged between 16 to 26 who are either working, self-employed or studying and outperforming their peers.  Breeze Volkswagen has confirmed its sponsorship for the Shooting Star Award.

The Shooting Star Award will be presented to an outstanding employee without an academic background and has seized an employment opportunity and turned it into a fantastic start to their career.  Nominations for this award category close in April 2017 and applicants can be nominated by a colleague for their achievements.

John Corderoy, managing director at Breeze Volkswagen, says: “We’re delighted to be a part of the Rock Star Awards again this year as sponsor of the new Shooting Star category. At Breeze, we recognise the importance of appointing the right people for the job, regardless of academic background, then offering ongoing training and development opportunities.  As such, we have a strong, unified and committed workforce that is totally focused and enthusiastic toward our customers and the brand we represent.”

Angela Piromalli, organiser of the Rock Awards, adds: “Breeze Volkswagen has become a market leader in independent Volkswagen retail across the south coast and we are delighted to have the firm on board as an award category sponsor.  Breeze Volkswagen has supported the awards for many years and we are proud to have such a prestigious name on our sponsor roster.”
