Tower Park based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen has partnered with Brotherwood to provide customers with bespoke wheelchair accessible vehicles.
To date Brotherwood has purchased 40 vehicles from Breeze Volkswagen. Brotherwood has converted the interior of six of these vehicles for customers who require specific adaptations.
John Corderoy, managing director of Breeze Volkswagen, says: “These uniquely designed vehicles give wheelchair users more freedom to live the life they want without being restricted from travelling. We are delighted to be able to offer high specification vehicles such as the Volkswagen Sharan. The Brotherwood team are great to work with and it is a mutually beneficial relationship.”
Brotherhood refits Volkswagen Sharans and offers their customers the choice to decide what additional features they would like. The Volkswagen Sharan offers compact transport for five adults, including the driver and a wheelchair passenger with a choice of configurations.
Brotherwood spokesperson said: “We have been manufacturing wheelchair accessible vehicles since 1985. Our accessible vehicles enable wheelchair passengers to travel in comfort, inclusively and safely. They provide the ability for wheelchair passengers to sit closely with the other passengers within the vehicle, with a comfortable ride and good view out of the car. Our discrete adaptations, although wheelchair-friendly, blend seamlessly with other cars on the road.”
