One of the area’s major motor dealerships, Tower Park-based Breeze Volkswagen, has come on board as an associate partner to support the 2014 NatWest Venus Awards.

Breeze Volkswagen has added the women in business awards to its sponsorship portfolio for 2014 to reinforce its commitment to supporting the region’s most prestigious events.  As an associate sponsor to the awards programme, Breeze Volkswagen has supplied an award-winning Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet 1.6 TDi to the organisers of the competition and the branded car will be used to raise awareness of the Venus Awards in the lead up to when the winners are announced in June.

The Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet is a soft-top version of one of the most iconic cars ever built and brings together modern technology and the highest standards of quality. Its funky retro styling, sleek power-folding soft top, distinctive interior and low running costs with Bluemotion technology make this the perfect eye-catching car.

Once the winners of the 2014 awards are announced, the Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet will be available to some of the victorious business women for them to get behind the wheel and take on weekend trips.

Aside from providing a car, the Breeze Volkswagen showroom will also play host to the finalist drinks reception on Thursday April 3 which will provide finalists with the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, meet award sponsors and other shortlisted finalists as well as find out about the Awards Dinner.

Tara Howard of the NatWest Venus Awards says: “”We are so very proud to have Breeze Volkswagen as the official car sponsor.    Not only is the Venus Beetle fun and feminine, with amazing quality, it is fabulous to drive with great fuel consumption and the customer service at Breeze Volkswagen is exceptional.   The Beetle is perfect.   It is definitely worth popping into the showroom for a test drive to experience it for yourself!”

Amanda Taylor, Operations Development Manager at Breeze Volkswagen, says: “Breeze Volkswagen is committed to supporting the region’s most exciting events and we’re pleased to be supporting the Venus Awards this year. With its daisy on the dash the new Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet is an ideal car to raise awareness amongst female drivers.”
