After 17 years of running Liz Lean PR here in Sandbanks, Poole we have seen some low times and some high times but there has rarely been a moment this invigorating; amazing energy is being pumped out from Dorset to the wider world. We are being watched carefully and opportunities are creeping in which are enabling us to spread our wings. National brands are finding us and coming to us for our expertise.

The ripple effect of what is happening in the digital scene here is washing through our own offering and we are enjoying the crossover from traditional PR and marketing into digital. The maturing of our services and the client’s appetite for broader services is allowing us to evolve and grow again.

What excites me most is the opportunity to introduce skills to the team that are fresh and versatile, but what worries me most is the limited skills pool from which to fish from. And the next step for all of us has to be knocking Manchester off its position (as highlighted in the Tech Nation report) as the fastest growing tech cluster by turnover and replacing it with the booming Bournemouth digital economy – bring on the budgets!
