Big Yellow Self Storage has pledged its support for Forest Holme Hospice in Poole by donating free storage space.

Plans are in the pipeline for the Friends of Forest Holme to open a retail outlet, The Secret Wardrobe, selling pre-loved vintage clothes and jewellery – location to be announced. The 125sq ft storage space, which has been offered for a year initially, will be used as a collection point for donations and to store the stock before it reaches the shop’s shelves.

All the proceeds from the planned store will go to the Poole hospice, which cares for patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.

Charity manager, Diane Platt, says: “We are grateful to the team at Big Yellow Self Storage for so generously offering their support. With their help, we are looking forward to making this shop a reality.”

Michelle Knight, store manager of Big Yellow Self Storage in Poole, comments: “It is a real pleasure working with Forest Holme, and I am convinced they will be successful with this new venture.

“We are doing everything we can to help so we will be able to continue our support of Friends of Forest Holme for the foreseeable future.”
