A mass pile of flytipping off Randalls Hill has been cleared thanks to the hard-working grounds men at Tapper Funeral Service’s woodland burial site, Harbour View in Lytchett Minster, Dorset.
Tyres, bags, boxes and even a sofa were cleared from the public land that has been steadily piling up over the past few months, to the extent where the stream could no longer flow.
Tapper Funeral Service took on the responsibility to clear the site, which is regular footpath for walkers, and even paid for a skip to be brought in to clear the rubbish.
Rachel Lawton, Cemetery Manager at Harbour View, said: “It’s horrible to see people are using this beauty spot as a flytipping site. This area is fortunate to occupy a position that enjoys a host of wildlife and to see it being treated in this way is very sad. Our grounds men have worked tirelessly to clear the rubbish and we hope it remains tidy.”
