A young apprentice’s career in customer service and operations management is flourishing since her appointment at ODEON Dorchester in 2012.


Chloe Pitney, aged 21, was taken on by ODEON Dorchester as an apprentice through training provider, Lifetime Training in 2012 and now helps head up the team as guest experience supervisor.


Chloe is supported by both the cinema and Lifetime Training to complete the nationally recognised and accredited NVQ in management training. With just a few months to go until the qualification is complete, Chloe continues to learn on the job guided by the management team at ODEON Dorchester. In the role of guest experience supervisor, Chloe is responsible for a variety of duties, including supporting the general manager in all aspects of the operation of the cinema to ensure the delivery of first-class customer service.


The cinema in Brewery Square, Dorchester is committed to helping young people with employment, with a successful apprenticeship programme firmly in place. Since opening in 2012, ODEON Dorchester has believed in growing young talent and has provided training opportunities to those living in the local community and surrounding areas.
