Black Label Events, the venue and event caterer that provides high quality services to AFC Bournemouth, has appointed ForeComm, part of the Southampton-based communications specialist group ForeSolutions, to supply radio communications.

With hundreds of AFC Bournemouth and visiting team fans attending each match, the Black Label Events team were looking for an efficient communications system and ForeComm have supplied the event catering firm with two-way hand-held radios to ensure communication between the whole team is quick and simple, ultimately helping the team deliver first-class pitch side hospitality.

ForeComm has equipped Black Label Events with Motorola SL4000 digital radios and ear pieces.  The SL4000 radios will easily increase productivity by keeping users communicating, yet streamlining their radio use to allow them to concentrate on the job at hand.

The SL4000 is designed for discretion and professionalism.  It is sleek and light weight, making it comfortable for staff to wear.  With an intelligent audio feature, the radio volume automatically adjusts to compensate for external noise and the radio’s background noise suppression filters out external commotion.

Darren Martin, operations director at Black Label Events, says: “AFC Bournemouth play host to many events, functions, exhibitions and football matches throughout the year and to make sure our catering team had efficient means to communicate. We are looking forward to working with ForeComm.”

Tom Ross, managing director of ForeComm, comments: “The caterer required an efficient mobile radio communications system and we’re delighted to be selected as its preferred supplier.  The SL4000 radio is an excellent and unobtrusive way of keeping the team in contact.

“Success in a business relies on attention to detail, exceptional customer service and rapid response to customer needs.  The SL4000 enhances a firm’s ability to serve customers effectively – with forward-thinking features like intergrated Bluetooth and intelligent audio – so a firm can improve productivity.”
