As the whole nation prepares to be gripped by the Diamond Jubilee, The Sandbanks Hotel is inviting guests to come and raise a toast to HRH Queen Elizabeth II and celebrate the momentous occasion at its 1950’s themed Great British Jubilee party on Monday June 4.
Taking place from 11am to 4pm, The Sandbanks Hotel and its Funsters entertainment team have organised a royal programme of fun-filled activities for guests holidaying or visiting the hotel.
The event will give children the opportunity to dress up in their best prince and princess outfits, take part in a range of party games and craft workshops as well as have their faces painted. The Pearly King and Queen will also make a guest appearance alongside the hotel’s very own HRH.
Live music will entertain the crowds and craft stalls will be selling a variety of hand-made gifts. Traditional British food will also be available for purchase during the event.
Philippa Thompson, general manager at The Sandbanks, says: “We aim to make our guests feel like royalty as they enjoy this national celebration. As a British, family-owned business, we believe that the Jubilee will be a great occasion for this country and have organised a range of traditionally British party-style activities for the whole family to enjoy.”
Tickets for the Great British Jubilee party are priced at £5 per person and must be purchased in advance. For further information please visit www.sandbankshotel.co.uk or telephone 01202 707377.
Accommodation at The Sandbanks Hotel during June half-term, on a bed and breakfast basis, starts from £170 per room per night.
