The Dorset Business Awards, in association with the Daily Echo and Dorset Echo, is set to celebrate two decades of acknowledging the region’s success stories in 2014. Organised by the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dorset Business Awards celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and has announced the Awards Gala Dinner will be bigger and better than ever before.
After five very successful years at the Lighthouse in Poole, the 20th Dorset Business Awards Gala Dinner will be held at the Bournemouth International Centre on Thursday November 27. Due to popular demand the competition’s finale will be staged in the venue’s Purbeck Hall in order to accommodate an extra 200 people, enabling up to 700 of the region’s business people, dignitaries, MPs and press to enjoy the county’s most prestigious business event.
Ian Girling, chief executive of Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry, says: “The Dorset Business Awards is an integral part of the county’s business calendar. The gala dinner has become the single biggest annual business event held in Dorset, where companies come together in a joint celebration of all that is good for our county. The Awards Gala Dinner attracts huge interest each year and we are delighted to provide even more people with the opportunity to attend the event by moving to a larger venue.
