Ray Clift, owner of Cycle Paths – a retailer within Dolphin Shopping Centre, is taking part in this year’s Prudential RideLondon 100 road sportive on August 10.
Ray will be partaking in the world-class cycling event where he will follow a 100 mile cycling route to raise money for Dorset Somerset Air Ambulance Service, a charity close to his heart.
Commenting on why he chose to support the Dorset Somerset Air Ambulance Service, Ray said: “I had an unfortunate accident some years ago and the air ambulance came to my rescue. Having fully recovered you appreciate what an amazing charity the air ambulance is.”
He added: “I wanted to challenge myself, so I signed up to take part in the London to Surrey 100 mile bike ride, I hope to raise as much money as possible.”
Centre manager of the Dolphin Shopping Centre, John Grinnell, said: “We have nothing but respect for Ray, everyone at the Dolphin Shopping Centre is backing him and talking about it, we hope he gets the full support he deserves for this great cause.”
