The mission to find Dorset’s best businesses complete
It was a licence to thrill at this year’s Daily Echo–backed Dorset Business Awards as more than 530 guests descended on the Lighthouse in Poole to watch the glittering Awards ceremony, hosted by actress and impressionist Debra Stephenson.
To celebrate the 007th year that the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organised the Awards and the 50th… anniversary of James Bond, a character said to be inspired by Ian Flemming’s school days in the Isle of Purbeck, the Awards Gala Dinner impressed guests with a Bond theme. Bond cocktails, Dorset’s very own bond movie, as well as impressions and Bond songs performed during the evening by Debra Stephenson, entertained the audience before companies from across the region were honoured in 10 award categories.

Dorset Business Award sponsors raise a toast to 2012 finalists at exclusive event
The line-up of 30 finalists for the Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards attended an exclusive reception at The Italian Villa at Compton Acres in Poole last night (November 19) to celebrate reaching the penultimate stage of the competition.
The finalists, who stretch from Christchurch to Dorchester and from Bridport to Ringwood, gathered at the event to meet others shortlisted and the Award sponsors as well as find out about the glittering Awards Gala Dinner at the Lighthouse Poole on Thursday November 29.…

The Italian Villa to host drinks reception for Dorset Business Awards’ finalists
To celebrate reaching the penultimate stage of the Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards, finalists for the 2012 Awards are set to gather at The Italian Villa at Compton Acres in Poole on Monday November 19 for an exclusive drinks reception.
Organised by Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also backed by the south’s leading radio station Wave 105 and RT Media, this year’s Awards generated significant interest from within the region’s business community and entries for the 10 categories came from a wide variety of organisations in the area. The exclusive drinks reception will enable finalists to celebrate their achievements, meet award sponsors and find out about the Awards Gala Dinner and get together with all other 2012 finalists.…

Judges name contenders for prestigious business awards
The line-up of finalists for the Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards has been revealed. Thirty different judges worked hard to shortlist the 127 entries received down to 30 finalists.
Finalists stretch from Christchurch to Dorchester and from Bridport to Ringwood and companies of all sizes are listed side by side in the annual search for the county’s top business performers.…
