Liz Lean PR – more than just public relations

Events the Liz Lean PR way:

Do you want to fill a room or create genuine momentum? It’s great to stage an event but it’s much better to know that you’re reaching the right people, people who will spread the word, invest in your product and become invaluable brand ambassadors.

Face-to-face marketing is a great way to showcase a brand, gain loyalty, engage with customers and, most importantly, influence buying power. Return on investment. That bottom line again. It matters more than ever.

We’ve always managed events. We like the buzz, we think we do them well and we have long appreciated the rewards they bring clients. But the events business has grown so fast in recent years we felt it was essential we could offer clients a team completely dedicated to events. So that’s what we did, in 2010.

Our aim is to create stories, inspire discussion, build credibility, generate long-term sustainability. A snowball of goodwill that grows and grows.

Every event we manage benefits from a bespoke creative treatment. Take Julia’s House Enchanted Garden Ball, regarded by many in Dorset as the social event of 2011. Many charities have found the last year challenging but we were able to bring the magic of an enchanted garden to a fundraising event which raised more than £24,000 for the hospice. Our expertise was utilised from start to finish, influencing the creative concept, production, logistics and even council liaison.

Bournemouth University’s Digital Hub event used a mix of new media to target specific audiences across two days of events. We sourced keynote speaker Tiffany St James, social media advisor to the Government, Channel 4 and The Guardian, and a live Twitter wall helped engage the audience before, during and after the event.

Expertise in social media is key to modern day event management. One of our great strengths is being able to encourage and educate our clients in using new platforms. Social media can extend the reach of your event and enhance the experience of those who attend. When you hit the ‘trending’ list as we did with Digital Hub, you know your event is making an impact both within the room and externally. That’s our ultimate goal.

How can we be of service at your next event?
