To celebrate the recent launch of Cloud9, a cloud computing package created by leading IT solutions provider Innovate, a series of free workshops titled ‘Cloud computing – A beginners guide’ will be run from the Innovate office in Poole.
The first two hour workshop will take place on Friday 24 May from 9am and is designed to introduce the fast-growing technology to interested business owners, directors and senior managers.
Dolphin shopping centre supports budding young entrepreneurs
Budding young entrepreneurs will be taking over the Dolphin shopping centre, Poole, this weekend (Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May) as they tackle the nationwide competition, The Tenner Challenge.

Kids run to raise cash 4 kids
Children from 40 schools across Hampshire raised £1,000 for Wave 105 Cash for Kids charity by taking part in the B&Q Eastleigh 2k fun run.
More than 600 school children ran to raise money for children less fortune than themselves.
Cash for Kids was established in 2008 to support children under the age of 18 across the region who are financially, socially, emotionally or physically disadvantaged.… Read the full Press Release
